The Southern Travels Manali tour package for 4 days 3 nights is just perfect for a relaxed family trip. I went on this unforgettable trip last month with my family and cousins and we enjoyed every minute of the trip.
It was a night journey to Manali and since we all had come running from college and coaching classes, our main concern was to just be on time! Once we settled, the talks started and we did not realize when we went off to sleep. We woke up in the morning when we reached Manali. We checked into the hotel, got ready and filled out stomach with breakfast and started with the sightseeing. First the Vashistha Temple and then the Hidimba Temple. Our parents were very delighted with the temple visits though it did not sound like a very good idea to us. But on reaching the temples we were happy to have come.
The Vashistha Temple has a natural hot water spring! Near the temple there is a bath complex with separate bath facilities for men and women. We were all quick to take a bath when the guide accompanying us told us that the hot water was sulphur water and it has medicinal properties. The temple was a bit crowded with devotees but had its own old world charm.
Hidimba Temple is a beautiful four-tiered pagoda temple that dates back to 1533 A.D. The wooden architecture of the temple is beautiful. The surrounding area has huge trees and a garden. We clicked a lot of pictures here. The temple was not very crowded but we came to know that a huge Hidimba Devi Festival is organized on 14th May every year to celebrate Goddess Hidamba’s birthday. The fair gets huge crowd of devotees and tourists.
Next we visited the Solang Valley where our parents enjoyed the beauty while we got ready to do some adventure sports. Lots of people come to the valley for paragliding, rappelling and rock climbing. Skiing is done here in winters when the mountain slopes are covered with snow.
We returned to the hotel tired and excited with the days activities. The next day of our Manali tour package for 4 days 3 nights included a visit to the Rohtang Pass, Snow Point, Nehru Kund and Rahalla Falls. The next morning we visited the Kullu Valley and Kullu shawl factory.
It was a fun filled trip and we wished our parents had booked a longer trip – the Kullu Manali tour package that was of 6 days. Our parents were equally happy and as of now, have promised us that we would definitely take the Kullu Manali tour package in the month of December to enjoy the snow and winter sports.
