Another interesting place to shop for local handicrafts, jeweler, spices, etc is the Arpora market that starts at around 6 pm every Saturday and goes on till midnight. The Calangute Street is one of the busiest lanes. It has a lot of popular restaurants and café. You could also halt here for local shopping.
