Located on the banks of the Dal Lake, in the foothills of the Zabarwan Range, is the beautiful Tulip Garden that was conceptualized and created by the then Prime Minister of J&K, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad. The garden is in full bloom during the spring season and this is the time when the Tulip Festival is celebrated in the city. Over 60 varieties of Tulips are in full bloom and it is a magnificent view. People from all over the places come to be a part of this Festival which is the largest in south Asia.
